Turns out not every product that is recommended is for me but Hey can’t say no to trials and errors we all have to learn from somewhere. I started out with a mild investigation on deep conditoners and curl definers for my kinky hair. My older brother to the rescue was always the one that gets me what the glam twinz recommended. I loved those products I no longer use them because I got new favs!

Hair Type: Curly and Kinky hair

Every natural hair have curl patterns and dont get me wrong we are not turning this into a race thing but Curl patterns are mostly found in mixed and black race. Our natural roots tends to come out in “S” and “Z” form this shape or pattern of your curls is determined by the shape of your hair follicle. Curl pattern describe the shape of your hair that naturally grows in. Its hard to seperate your hair type from curl patterns because you can often get 3b hair type at the front of your head then get 4b at the back of your head.

Type of Curls

  • 2A – 2C Wavy Hair
  • Type 3A – 3C Curly Hair.
  • Type 4A Curly Coily Hair.
  • Type 4B Coily Hair.
  • Type 4C Kinky Coily Hair

The Type 4 hair is known for being Thick and Course while the others are sightly thin and can comb through without a doubt of the comb or brush breaking. The Type 4 curls tend to be tighter and lets your hair grown upwards. The type 3s are more loose and they tend to grow downwards.
