10 Must have clothing in your closet

 

What are your closet must-haves? Ladies, what are the outfits you have in your closet right now?

You can’t be a female and don’t have at least nine of these pieces. No, you don’t have to be a fashionista to have all besides, if you do have all girl you know whats going on in the fashion world.

I won’t be adding a dress to the list because come on a dress? You must have that in your closet. I’m not a fan of skirts so if you skip here and start looking through the list then come back you’re going to be disappointed. I only wear skirts for work attire nothing else, it wouldn’t be fair to add skirt below knowing I don’t ever wear it to go out. 

 

Crop top

No matter your size you should own a crop top at least a T-shirt crop top. I love a cute crop top it’s mostly wore in the summer for festive events. If not it’s wore with high waisted jeans and/or coat. Well at least that’s how I try to style it. Having crops tops definitely helps with go to events/outings

Sweater/coat/Jacket

Every single person should own a sweater I know majority of us experience winter even if we are in the tropics. Cold front pass through sometimes and beside your workplace must have air conditioners that let you think it’s snowing inside.

I personally own two bomber jackets, a trench coat and a sweater.

I’m a huge fan of oversized coats and jackets. I know I’m just 5’2 but your girl find them stylishly fitting for fall and winter. It’s not a must to own oversized coats but a sweater or jeans jacket is a must.

Shorts

I mean shorts is for two seasons but for my tropical people it’s all year long. So, shorts is a must for your closet. Spring  and summer events need a nice shorts for all the places you’ll be attending. I recommend having regular cotton shorts and jeans shorts. For me jeans shorts are a must I own more than 12 lol a female should own a lot more

Pants/Jeans

You know ladies we have the regular pants and jeans. Let me break it down of what you must have:

1. 1. High waisted jeans
   2. Ripped/Distressed Jeans
   3. Colour Jeans: Black, White, blue, acid wash blue
   4. Mom jeans
   5. Hipsters
   6. Skinny jeans
   7. 3/4 jeans
   8. Palazzo pants

For pants you know any color is worth having because it’s business casual. I would say everyone should own a flare jeans but I just got mine ha! Finally.

Blouse

Girl please everyone owns this! Yes I know but there’s so many to choose from and you know we live for blouses that’s catches the eyes. I know some persons call blouses “Tops” It’s the same so don’t panic that’s it’s not on the list.

Romper/Jumpsuit

Most females have both some have one or the other. I just got into both I will always wear the romper but a jumpsuit suits me as well. I am not a fan of designed jumpsuits I just prefer the solid colors

Two piece set

How many two-piece set you have? From I know myself I definitely had over 50 because when I was a baby my mom bought a lot because it was the cutest thing ever. Okay fun and joke aside I’m a huge fan of knitted two-piece sets doesn’t matter the skirt or the pants it’s just what I prefer. As for you dolls you know there’s a lot of two piece sets to turn to for example

a. Cotton floral sets for tropical vibe

b. knitted set for fall and winter vibe

Bodysuit/Playsuit

Bodysuits I usually call “pin under” it’s a strange way of calling it that but if we are being honest most do come with pin under ha! Anyways, pin unders are for kids and bodysuits are for adults. They come in all kinds and types with all sort of materials. I’m a huge fan of lace bodysuits and turtle neck bodysuits.

Suits

There are pants suits, short suits and skirt suits. I just recently added this to my wardrobe because business causal is in now. You need a suit to look like the part on a nice Sunday brunch or in a business setting discussing your prices for a new blog post or Instagram post with brands. (Wink wink)

If you don’t have any of these in your wardrobe/closet do you really own anything? 90% of these should be in every single person closet.
