8 Things to do during Quarantine

Hey my beautiful people! We’re all here on the Corona virus COVID-19 quarantine waiting for better days to come. I was thinking since we’re at home now what can we do? I complied a list of few things I’ve been doing these pass days and I’m ready to share them.

 

What is Corona Virus

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.

 

HOW IT SPREADS

Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.

8 Things to do during Quarantine

 

1. Stay Healthy 

This simply means eat fruits, prepared cooked vegetable and underground foods or even eating raw vegetable. I don’t mean go vegan on me ha! Anywaysssss staying healthy through this quarantine can actually make you feel like a new woman stepping out into freedom with the body and face you got in with. #absolutelynotbodyshaming anyone, just saying stay healthy don’t over eat, don’t under eat, we tend to do so under stress and isolation. 

1a. Cooking!

Make your favorite meals. Heck try some new meals pull out that cook book. Make smoothies and enjoy every moment of it.

Knowing you’re home its the best time to work out too doing 5 squats and push ups.

 

2. Practice proper Hygiene

So, we’re taking care of our body on the inside what about the outside? Please take daily baths twice day I might add and wash your hands always. You’ll be surprised what carries bacteria if you’re not careful. 

 

2a.  Skincare Routine

Take care of your skin do that weird mixture that you always wanted to try from YouTube, create that cool skincare routine. So, just because your staying inside doesn’t mean you don’t need to wash your face and moisturize. You need to take out that cleanser, face mask and moisturizers you have sitting in your room because you were too lazy to use. Yes I’m guilty of that however now is the time to start taking care of the skin.

 

3. Read a book/Read someone’s latest blog posts

I don’t need quarantine to do this obviously but reading a book or a new blog post might even open your vocabulary and teach you something on a whole other level. I find reading to be soothing we all have our own guilty pleasures. Please don’t judge but there’s a lot of amazing romantic, thriller, science – fiction and etc books out there that you can dive into and get your read on.

Some of my favourite books to read are: Beauty’s punishment, Where did the missing go, Gettin’ Buck Wild (Zane book), Two can keep a secret, etc.

You can write in a journal OR brave up and start a blog I got all the tools to help you out here!

 

4. Join other social networks

TikTok (niquesbeauty) has gone pretty wild lately everyone and their momma’s on it. Everyone is out here doing those challenges and acting a whole fool. Black twitter as always been lit so if your not on twitter girl now is the time to sign up and share your thoughts on just about anything. YouTube? hmm that’s a little not for everyone because people are into vlogs now but hey nothing can’t beat a good tutorial.

Do live streaming with your audience on social media.

 

5. Binged watch favorite series

Whats you favorite tv series? Mine is definitely The Originals but its over now it’s been two years and I’m still hang up on it. However, I came across some new ones (Dynasty, Riverdale, Katy Keene, Legacies, The good doctor, etc). I have a trial period where I watch the first episode of a series and if it has a bomb ass cliffhanger it gets a pass to watch. If i don’t get a laugh, a fright or even a warm feeling in the heart its a no. 

I’m a super fan of kdramas and Chinese dramas. Yes reading is fundamental 🙂 few I enjoy: Whats wrong with secretary kim, Goblin the lonely God, Beauty inside, Legends of the blue sea, Well intended love, etc.

Make Netflix, Hulu, Fmovies and Disney + your best friend through this hard time lol 

 

6. Play phone games

I am the queen of phone games before I started adding music to my phone yes an IPhone user and don’t have one song on my phone as a Hot gal I get it okay?! Anywaysssss I play Episode (Fav) dress up games, cooking games and decor homes. 

I live for these games my sister always saying I need to get my life together because I’m always play phone games. 

 

6a. Play Video games

My bf is a PUBG freak and he like some sports games too so y’all can join your bae and beat his ass!

 

7. Do puzzles

Kylie Jenner suggested this and I quickly started some because I realize it’s peaceful just like reading. You can download an app on your phone/Tablet to do it or simply print some online and work on it. Jigsaw puzzles and Word puzzles are the best.

 

8. Dress up

For my fashion lovers you can literally put on your outfits on and pose in every room. I saw the fashion nova dolls doing this and I mean I was doing this before quarantine. It’s tiring but fun! Also for my makeup lovers who were already inside making those YouTube Tutorials this quarantine did you a favor everyone inside its time to put out your best content.  

 

I would add family bonding time but that would just defeat the whole purpose of social distancing. Do more Face time and reach out to your love ones.
